Acura Precision Certified: The best you can get in Certified Pre-Owned
As part of the Acura Precision Certified Pre-Owned process, only late model, well-maintained Acura vehicles are even considered. Potential Acura models must be no more than six years old and have less than 80,000 miles. Each vehicle must pass a comprehensive 182-point inspection and a vehicle history report review to be certified. That insures these vehicles do not have a history of problems like accidents, flood damage or theft. Pre-owned Acura models that pass these tests then receive the best certified pre-owned warranties you can get in a luxury car.
Powertrain coverage for seven years or 100,000 miles: That's Acura Precision Certified
The Acura Precision Certified Pre-Owned plan gives owners from Alpharetta and Milton, GA powertrain coverage for an amazing 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Compare that to Lexus which gives you only two years with unlimited mileage after the expiration of the 4-year/50,000-mile new vehicle basic warranty. BMW is even more limited, giving you only one year or unlimited miles after the 4-year-50,000-mile new vehicle warranty expires.
Non-powertrain coverage for two years or 100,000 miles
The Acura Precision Certified Pre-Owned program also gives owners from Dunwoody and Peachtree Corners non-powertrain coverage for two years or 100,000 miles. It covers a wide array of components on your Acura including the fuel systems, suspension, steering, brakes, safety systems and more. Lexus and BMW simply don't offer non-powertrain warranty coverage.
Other benefits of the Acura Precision Certified Pre-Owned program
In addition to warranty coverage, the Acura Precision Certified Pre-Owned plan gives you Acura roadside assistance for two years or 100,000 miles. Your first scheduled maintenance visit is free including an oil change. You also get a seven-day exchange policy and trip interruption expense reimbursement.
Acura Precision Used: Coverage for a wider range of used vehicles
The Acura Precision Used program applies to Acura vehicles no older than the 2013 model year and there's no mileage limit. In order to qualify, these Acura vehicles must pass a complete 112-point inspection conducted by a certified Acura technician. Acura models that pass that test get powertrain coverage for six months or 7,500 miles and non-powertrain coverage, also for six months or 7.500 miles. This program includes roadside assistance for one year or 12,000 miles and one complimentary oil change within the first year of ownership.
